I started in Java and Spring Boot at Dish and Travelport, where I built the validation and data-integrity systems that kept millions of hotel records trustworthy — which mostly meant catching the bad signal before it ever reached anyone downstream. Somewhere along the way I fell hard for AI, and never looked back. These days you'll find me up too late pair-programming with Claude or watching Ollama serve local models at 2am. I love this stuff. I also build safeguards for it — because I've watched AI get turned against someone I care about, and it turns out "I love AI" and "I want AI to be safe" are the same sentence. If there's a new model or framework out, I've probably already spun it up to see what it can do — and to see how it breaks.
